The New Orleans Conference is now on its 4th year and growing with registration in 2009 exceeding 220 registrants. From our humble beginnings after Katrina, The New Orleans Conference now offers continuing education credits for physicians, perfusionists, anesthetists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses.

This year we will be focusing on renal complications and treatment options, minimally invasive valve techniques and technologies, ventricular assist devices and artifical heart technology, temperature management and transfusion management. We will also have lively debates and case reports with our insightful session titled, "What went wrong?"

We continue to strive for excellence and are again proud of our faculty, all of whom are professional speakers and experts in their respective fields. Our topics are contemporary, timely and designed to provide you, the professional care giver, with a quality educational experience in a relaxed atmosphere and at an affordable price.

The Roosevelt Hotel
The Waldorf Astoria Collection

Come visit the place where Huey P. Long (Kingfish) had a highway built from the capitol in Baton Rouge to the Roosevelt just to go have a drink and where our 32nd President F.D.R. had a private entrance and elevator to his suite so the public would not see that he could not walk. Named after our 26th President, Teddy Roosevelt, the Roosevelt hotel is a landmark and a “Beacon of Luxury, Grandeur and Elegance.”

The Roosevelt is a tradition and The New Orleans Conference in Partnership with The Roosevelt will provide you the opportunity to be a part of that tradition with a multi-year agreement. With a rate of only $159.00 the room block will fill up fast so book your room early. Though we do not charge a penalty for choosing to stay at a different hotel, staying at the Roosevelt enters you into several drawings for a Guerlain Spa treatment, a dinner gift card or a nights hotel accomodations to show our appreciation for your support.
